Hack-a-Thon  - 2022

Problem Statements:
  • Ensuring Safety & Security of women & senior citizens using IT
  • Cyberspace patrolling for anti-national & illegal activities
  • Integration of CCTV feeds from various cameras
  • Alert generation for suspicious calls & messages to prevent cyber crime
  • Real time monitoring of emergency calls & police response
  • Automated monitoring & response system for Chandigarh Police social media handles
 

Guidelines:

  • The participants are allowed to work only on given problem statements and develop the solution related to one of these problem statements.
  • The solution must be designed and developed after the nomination is submitted. Already developed (existing) solutions will be rejected.
  • A Team can have max 4 people including a Team Lead.
  • Each Team has to nominate and submit their solution design & details as per given timelines.
  • The participants under Student category, must be pursuing an active academic year and not doing part time or full time job.
  • Startup category participants must be working for said startup as an employee. Startup must be less than 3 years old [from date of nomination] and the strength of the startup should be max 75 people.
  • Jury will check all the submissions and select top ideas or solutions to participate in the ‘In-Person’ round at campus. The experts will guide and mentor the selected teams to enhance their solution to present in front of the Jury on closing day.
  • Teams selected for in-person round, the participants have to make their own arrangements for travel. Organizing team will arrange the meals, refreshments and overnight stay.
  • Jury Decision will be final.

Nomination Starts: 14th Oct 2022
Nomination Ends: 21st Oct 2022
Solution Submission Ends: 23rd Oct 2022 by 1700 hrs
Declaration of Top Teams for In-person Event: 24th Oct 2022
In-Person Event: 28th, 29th Oct 2022
